Disable Insecure Services on Windows | itfasilkom

Windows has some features that the internet will never be used by some User Home or Home Business. So that your notebook is protected from digital noise, then you have to disable some unnecessary services.

Follow this way:

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Select perfome and maintenance, click icon for administrative tools.
3. Click the service icon
4. Double click Messenger
5. Click Startup Type, select Disabled
6. Apply, OK

Back to windows service, repeat the previous steps to disable the following service:

• IIS Admin
• NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing
• Remote Desktop Help Session Manager
• Remote Registry
• Telnet
